Episode 23

Do You Truly Know How Others Think? Ask!

Ciao a tutti e Benvenuti!

In this episode, I dives into one of my favorite topics—personal development. I share more about my passion for learning new things every day has led me to a fascinating book, "What Your Mother Couldn't Tell You and Your Father Didn't Know" by John Gray. This book opened my eyes to the idea that men and women often speak different languages, which has deeply influenced how I approach communication in my business.

I talk about how this insight has shaped the way I train and communicate with my employees, with an emphases on the power of effective communication in bringing out the best in your team. I discusses how understanding different perspectives can boost employee confidence and help them realize their own goals.

Tune in to explore how improving communication skills can transform not just your workplace but your relationships as well.

Hello! I am Cristina, the owner of Healthy Italia and a native Italian who moved to the United States in 2014.

My original plan was to stay in the U.S for six months working in an internship while improving my English language skills. After being offered a full-time accounting job, I decided to stay but I followed the advice of my father to pursue “something else” outside of a 9-5 job. Healthy Italia is my “something else”!

The original idea was to open a retail store that would sell imported goods from small Italian producers. Today Healthy Italia has evolved into a retail store with an attached cooking school, where we instruct students in live cooking classes, teaching them how to prepare traditional Italian dishes from scratch.

My mantra is that everyone can create a delicious dish from a few simple ingredients.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!
