Episode 3

Shifting Your Mindset with Health Coach Angela Longo

Ciao a tutti e Benvenuti!

In today's episode, I’m joined by my friend and Holistic Health Coach, Angela Longo. After years of working in the corporate world, Angela decided to take a leap of faith and start her own business, focusing on helping women with hypothyroidism and thyroidectomy reclaim their health.

Angela shares the story of what motivated her to leave her corporate job and how she found the courage to invest in herself and her passion. We discuss the challenges she faced, including her own hypothyroidism diagnosis, and how she transformed her personal experiences into a thriving business dedicated to empowering women.

Throughout our conversation, Angela offers valuable insights on shifting your mindset around health and wellness, the importance of balancing hormones, and practical tips for regaining energy. Plus, we dive into how Angela’s journey inspired me to start this podcast!

Hello! I am Cristina, the owner of Healthy Italia and a native Italian who moved to the United States in 2014.

My original plan was to stay in the U.S for six months working in an internship while improving my English language skills. After being offered a full-time accounting job, I decided to stay but I followed the advice of my father to pursue “something else” outside of a 9-5 job. Healthy Italia is my “something else”!

The original idea was to open a retail store that would sell imported goods from small Italian producers. Today Healthy Italia has evolved into a retail store with an attached cooking school, where we instruct students in live cooking classes, teaching them how to prepare traditional Italian dishes from scratch.

My mantra is that everyone can create a delicious dish from a few simple ingredients.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!
